Upon finishing a course with us you will have an in-depth knowledge of the medical aesthetic industry, and the motivation and excitement needed to begin your new career in medical aesthetics! You will know how to safely and effectively implement procedures, and have access to ongoing mentorship from your instructor.
We ensure that all students are capable of demonstrating proper technique for all procedures being taught. You will be confident in your ability to complete a thorough client assessment, identify treatment goals and follow through with a desirable treatment. You will be able to recognize complications and how to properly manage them if they occur.

MAAI is an industry leader in training medical professionals on cosmetic injectables. Our students go into the workforce ready to see clients immediately, and we support our graduates through continued education.
Yvonne Dellos, Medical Director of Medical Aesthetic Art Institute maintains the highest level of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the field of medical aesthetics. Yvonne has trained countless medical professionals in the art of medical aesthetics that span the country. She continuously has an outstanding professional relationship with many of her past students.
Yvonne graduated from Frontier Nursing University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. Her first career move was in the direction of Medical Aesthetics where she stepped into a position as an aesthetic provider within a nationwide chain Medspa. From there she founded her private practice Rezults Medical Aesthetics and Weight Loss, where she strives to maintain high quality aesthetic treatments to all her clients. With a desire to travel and expand her career, she began teaching nationwide as a clinical educator. While on this path she discovered her passion for teaching. This has since led her to teach for MAAI, where she is happy to share all her tips and tricks to maintaining happy clients and build a thriving practice. She has always believed in leaving her clients looking and feeling refreshed and not “Frozen” or overdone!
Amy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who began her nursing career in emergency care over 10 years ago. In 2018, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Weber State University with a Master of Science in Nursing- Nurse Practitioner degree and has since developed her interest and love for the aesthetic field. Amy is the founder of 29 Aesthetics where she strives to provide natural, beautiful enhancements to her already gorgeous patients. With a passion for safety and risk-mitigation, Amy loves educating her patients on the best and safest ways they can care for themselves. Amy is trained in advanced injectionables, PRP/PRF, PDO threads, and as a Medical Director for other nurse injectors. Amy understands the importance of following the law and working within one's scope of practice to provide safe, effective care. Amy is dependable, meticulous, and driven to learn as much as she can about aesthetics!
Amy has been married to her sweetheart for 10 years and they have 3 darling children together. Amy loves spending time with her family outdoors, traveling and reading Harry Potter.
Vanessa Salazar is a registered nurse and certified nurse injector at our Heber City location. She graduated from Dixie University and then proceeded to get her nursing degree from Ivy Tech College in 2011. She has worked in Women’s Services for the past 10 years. Vanessa attended Medical Aesthetic Art Institute and is professionally trained in medical/facial aesthetics by Aesthetic Co. medical director, Yvonne Dellos, NP. She resides in Midway, Utah, with her husband and 3 daughters and is excited to further advance her skills in medical aesthetics.

Who can take our courses?
Each state varies, but most states require you to be a licensed RN, NP, PA, or MD in order to be an aesthetic injector.
I’m interested in getting started in aesthetic injections, which course should I take?
We recommend you take our Comprehensive Course- which covers both botox and fillers through didactic learning and hands-on injecting.
For your Comprehensive/PDO Threads Course, do I need to provide my own models?
No, we provide them for you! We try to have 2-3 models per student.
Where do you currently train at?
We are based out of Utah, and do frequent trainings in: St. George, Heber, and Draper. We also occasionally do courses in Hawaii. If you have a group of (at least 3) people who want training, we will travel to you!
Where do you register to be a model?
On our website learninjectables.com click on the “Be A Model” tab, and choose whether you’re looking to be model for botox/filler or PDO threads. From there, scroll to the bottom to see our upcoming dates/locations and click on the one you want.
How much does botox/filler cost for me as a model?
We charge $7/unit for botox, and $275 for a full syringe of filler ($150 for half a syringe).
How much do threads cost as a model?
Smooth threads are $250, and lifting or combination of lifting and smooth threads are $500.
When I put my $100 deposit down to be a model, does that go towards my treatment?
Yes! Your registration fee is applied to your services.
Do you hold private trainings?
If you have a group of 3 or more interested in one of our trainings, we are happy to travel to you! If your group is smaller than 3, we ask that you pay for all travel expenses (flights, hotels, transportation, etc.). If interested, please click on the tab “Training By Request”.
