Advanced Injection Course

Our Advanced Injection Course at MAAI is a specialized training program for neuromodulators (Botox) and dermal fillers, created for medical professionals with prior experience. This course is designed to elevate your skills by expanding your treatment capabilities to more complex areas of the face, such as the lower face, neck, and décolleté. Participants must have foundational skills in Botox and dermal filler applications and provide proof of licensure.

Overview

Learn new ways to boost your clients confidence by adding advanced treatments to your toolbox. In this course we cover neurotoxin to treat the lower face, neck and decollete and dermal filler in the jawline, cheeks, and tear troughs using needle and cannula techniques. Cannula dramatically reduces the risk of vascular occlusions as well as patient comfort and recovery. *Medical Professionals Include Physicians, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses. If you’re unsure if your profession qualifies, please contact MAAI.

Prerequisite Requirements

It is suggested that you take this course after you have been injecting regularly for at least 6-12 months and are confident in your basic treatment skills. You must have a thorough understanding of bone structure, muscle location and function, skin structure and thickness, as well as nerve and vessel locations. A great injector has learned to develop an artistic eye that can identify facial asymmetries and irregularities, an understanding of which products and amount are necessary to create the patients desired results. *Medical Professionals Include Physicians, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses. If you’re unsure if your profession qualifies, please contact MAAI.

New Additions!

Now including!!!!! Cannulas are an injector’s secret weapon! Cannulas are designed to provide excellent results with less bruising, swelling, pain, and other more serious complications (such as ischemia and possible necrosis) than conventional needles. They are quite effective and safe for dermal filler placement over a large area from a single entry point, resulting in greater patient satisfaction. *Medical Professionals Include Physicians, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses.
