MAAI’s Introductory Neuromodulator (Botox) Injection Course is designed for all qualified medical professionals, no experience in injecting is necessary to get started. All participants will need to provide proof of licensure.
INTRODUCTION TO NEUROMODULATORS
Our Neuromodulators Course provides participants with didactic and hands-on knowledge for safe and effective cosmetic injection techniques of neuromodulators in the upper half of the face. The course covers all protocols, charting/documentation, consent and consultation overview, legal issues, and how to start a Medical Aesthetic business. This is a great place to start if you are looking for a way to get into the medical aesthetics industry. We will cover treatments for the upper half of the face including forehead, scowl lines, and crow’s feet. There is no “one size fits all” treatment outline, as every body is different. Learning the anatomy of muscle function will help you create an individualized dosage plan for every patient you see.
Students will be provided with a manual including all protocols, dosing instructions, treatment outlines and patient consent forms. Our Introduction to Neuromodulators Course also includes a starter kit with supplies to help you begin injecting on your own. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who demonstrate proficiency during the entire injection procedure.
Did you know that there are actually four different brands of neuromodulators on the market? Botox® is the most largely recognized name as it was the first to market, but the others include Jeuveau®, Xeomin®, and Dysport®.
