WE MAY BE PREPARED FOR OUR BEST DAY IN THE CLINIC, BUT ARE WE PREPARED FOR OUR WORST?
After 40+ years of dermal fillers our industry has been left helpless with no standing orders or protocols for these crises. We are excited to finally spread the knowledge we have gathered, and aim to create higher standards of patient care in the aesthetic world.
Years of extensive research into vascular occlusion cases along with intense critiquing from professionals across the industry, has led to the creation of Aesthetic ER. This training & kit will provide you with all of the essential medications and step-by-step procedures that you will need to manage an adverse event.
Supported by Merz and Prollenium

“I am so glad that I took the Vascular Occlusion course with Medical Aesthetic Art Institute. I learned so much about educating my patients for possible adverse events prior to their injections and being prepared for the worst possible outcomes. Since taking the course, I had a patient that called 24 hours after lip filler and reported a white patch to her upper lip. I had her return to clinic immediately where I was prepared to dissolve her filler. Because of my education with MAAI, I was able to confidently recognize the problem and begin a prepared protocol for resolution. Luckily, in this case, we were able to apply heat and aggressive massage to the area and resolve the problem, but I was fully prepared with an emergency kit to dissolve her filler and return blood flow to the area if needed.
Aesthetic ER kit and course is a must-have resource if you are injecting filler! The education is necessary to be a safe and aware injector. Thank you MAAI!”Amy HawkinsMAAI Graduate
